Today people just want to put the car in drive, and it goes. Most customers do not know what is making that vehicle move just that it does. Weather driven by automatic, manual automatic, CVT or the like, they just want it to work. Technician on the other hand know all too well what it takes to do just that. Then there is the tried-and-true manual transmission making a comeback in the market. With this being the case how is a technician to know where to start to properly diagnose and repair all these different types of issues. Well, ZF has you covered. We will spend the day covering just that. Be it a refresher of older systems or covering the latest technology to drivetrains. This is the class for you.

Steering and Suspension (In-Person)
with Wes Dickens
Location: 14250 Myford Rd, Irvine, CA 92606
4 Hour Course 8:00AM - 12:00PM
Steering and Suspension – Course Description
Maybe you have asked yourself, why does this car have so many control arms on it? Or, why does this European vehicle ride and handle so much differently than US domestic vehicles? As with many automotive systems, the steering and suspension systems on vehicles are constantly evolving. European automakers have been at the forefront of automotive technology, including the evolution of steering and suspension. For technicians, having a proper understanding of how these systems have changed and how they operate is critical in being able to properly diagnose modern vehicles.
