Diagnostic Steps for an 8HP Transmission

As more and more vehicle manufacturers choose ZF for their transmissions, shops can benefit and even potentially add simple services to their offerings by understanding the basics of the ZF 8HP transmission and how to diagnose common problems encountered in the repair shop and complaints from customers. This one-hour webinar will walk attendees through an outlined 8 Step process that will provide the best diagnostic results possible prior to disassembly. This will include the knowledge needed to interpret adaption values and the shifting matrix, and properly read any fault codes. With this knowledge, technicians will know how to make properly diagnosis the unit. After completing this training, the participant will be able to:
