Course Description
JLR Security class is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the security systems used in modern Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles. The course covers vehicle security networks including immobilizers, alarm, and keyless entry systems. BUS networks are a critical focus of this class. (High, Medium, & Low Speed CAN Bus) Attendees will focus on diagnostics and troubleshooting of immobilization systems, including the identification of faults and how to use them to identify the source of the issue. Additionally, the course will cover the importance of proper key programming and the use of different scan tools and equipment to diagnose and repair vehicle networks.
Tom Morgan is a skilled and experienced automotive technician specializing in English vehicles, (Jaguar, Land Rover, & MINI Cooper). Over the years, Tom has worked at several automotive dealerships and independent repair shops as well as owning his own independent facility “The JAG Shop”. In addition to his technical expertise, Tom is known for his excellent customer service skills working with various technical support centers nationwide since 2010. He has a friendly and approachable demeanor, and he always takes the time to explain any issues with a vehicle in a way that his clients can understand. Tom's dedication to his clients and his passion for the automotive industry have made him a highly respected figure in his field.
